Local Attractions

The historic town of Chard is situated in picturesque South Somerset close to the borders of Devon and Dorset.

There are numerous places of interest nearby including the Jurassic Coastline, deemed as a World Heritage Site, which is only around 30 minutes drive away.

We hold a wide range of information leaflets and we are more than happy to offer you suggestions for places to visit and things to do. Alternatively our local Tourist Board is just a short stroll away in the centre of town.

Here are a few places that we can recommend and are well worth a visit.
